Why it exists
Show up on time, do the brief exactly as briefed, hand back the gear cleaner than you got it — those habits are exactly the ones most home service customers say their contractor didn't have.
RKServicesPDX started to fill that gap. Four specialized divisions instead of generic “handyman” — because specialization means the right tool for the right surface, every time. Wireless-first smart home, ground-level exterior pressure washing, small-batch 3D printing, and small-business web design — the work I can do well today.

Four focused divisions — wireless-first smart home, ground-level exterior cleaning, small-batch 3D printing, and small-business web design. I say no to work outside my scope until I have the credentials to do it right.
What I do today
Smart home, wireless-first. Wi-Fi mesh, battery / plug-in cameras, smart locks, video doorbells, smart bulbs, smart thermostats — installed cleanly and configured properly. Wireless and low-voltage work today; hardwired installs are on the roadmap.
Exterior pressure washing, ground-level. House wash (low-pressure soft wash), decks, patios, driveways, sidewalks, concrete, and fences. No second-story siding, no roof, no driveway sealing — yet.
3D printing, small-batch only. Filament (PLA, PETG) and resin (MSLA) printing for brackets, miniatures, prototypes, replacement parts, and custom mounts. Up to 20 units per job. Cured, washed, finished — not raw off the build plate. Not a print farm.
Web design, no-bloat. Fast websites for Portland small business — starter sites, refreshes, e-commerce, custom Next.js builds. You own the code, the domain, the data. Most sites cost nothing per month to host. The site you're reading is the reference build.
Things we'll add as the business grows: hardwired camera systems, whole-home audio, full home automation programming, driveway sealing, roof soft-wash, carbon-fiber / nylon / TPU filaments, large-format and dual-material printing, monthly web maintenance plans, and bilingual (ES/EN) sites.
