Request Data Deletion
Last updated: August 2026
You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains exactly how to do that, what gets removed, and what we're required to keep for legal or tax reasons.
What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to do the job: name, email, phone, and service address when you request a quote; service photos; quote, job, message, payment, and refund history; and account and sign-in information when you use the customer portal. Payment details are handled on Stripe or PayPal hosted checkout.
How to request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line DELETE MY DATA. Include the name and email or phone number you used with us so we can find the right record. If you'd rather talk to a human, call (971) 757-0248.
Signed-in customers can also use the irreversible “Delete my account now” control in portal settings. That self-service route starts the active-system erasure immediately after you type DELETE to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account, sign-in identities, credentials, recovery material, push-notification subscription, and customer portal profile
- Names, contact details, addresses, location coordinates, campaign identifiers, messages, and free-text details linked to your leads, quotes, jobs, payments, refunds, and reviews
- Service-photo database records; the underlying image files are submitted to the storage provider for immediate deletion
- Reviews and feedback you submitted, including removal from public display
- Direct identifiers and customer free text embedded in workflow and audit records
What we keep, and why
A few things have to stay on record, but we redact identifying details where we can:
- De-identified financial and operational records (amounts, status, provider references, and timestamps without your name, contact details, address, notes, or provider payload) - retained for up to 7 years for tax, accounting, fraud, dispute, and legal obligations.
- A de-identified security audit history (action, entity type, and timestamp) - retained for up to 7 years; direct identifiers and customer free text are removed.
- The minimum email suppression record needed to honor a previous opt-out from marketing or outreach. It is retained only to prevent future contact.
- Records needed for an active dispute, claim, refund, chargeback, warranty, or legal hold - retained until the matter and any required retention period are complete.
Timeline
A confirmed self-service deletion removes active database data during that request. Image-file deletion is attempted at the same time; a storage-provider failure is kept in a deletion-only queue for authorized retry and escalation. For emailed requests, we verify identity and respond within the applicable legal period (generally 45 days). We'll explain what was removed and which narrow categories, if any, had to be retained.
