Home Automation
That Actually Works

Smart thermostats, locks, doorbells, and voice control — installed and configured so they work together, not just as individual gadgets.

What We Install

Automation Services

Smart Thermostats

Nest, Ecobee, or other smart thermostats installed and configured with schedules that actually match how you live. Reduces energy bills without effort.

Smart Locks

Keypad and app-based deadbolts installed correctly. We handle the wiring, pairing, and app setup — including door sensor integration if needed.

Video Doorbells

Ring, Nest, or Eufy video doorbells installed with proper transformer wiring. We make sure the chime works and the app notifications are configured.

Voice Control Integration

Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomeKit — we get your devices talking to each other and set up the routines that make it actually useful.

Scenes & Schedules

Morning routines, away modes, movie scenes — we program automations that work reliably, not just in the demo.

Garage Door Automation

Smart garage door openers installed and configured. Auto-close timers, notifications when left open, and app control from anywhere.

Who This Is For

Best For

Frequent Travelers

Away modes that handle thermostat setback, random light schedules, and door-lock notifications. Your house looks lived-in while you're gone, and you can check on it from anywhere.

Families With Kids in After-School

Smart locks with per-person codes (so you know which kid got home and when), auto-arm/disarm tied to schedules, and doorbell alerts that don't wake the baby napping upstairs.

Aging in Place

Voice-controlled lighting, thermostats, and locks for parents who'd rather not get up to flip a switch. Hands-free, family-monitored — without the hospital vibe of medical alert systems.

Automation That Matches How You Actually Live

Less smart-home theater. More less-to-think-about.

The biggest mistake we see in Portland homes? People buy a pile of smart devices, set them up via the box's quick-start app, and end up with five separate apps that don't talk to each other. The thermostat is on Wi-Fi #1, the doorbell on Wi-Fi #2, the locks paired with a phone that's already been replaced.

We come in with a plan. We pick the ecosystem that fits your household — Apple Home if you're all on iPhones, Google if you're mixed, Alexa if voice is the priority — and configure everything to share that one source of truth. We program the three or four routines you'll actually use (good morning, away mode, goodnight, garage check) and skip the rest. Less complexity, more reliability.

Good to Know

Automation FAQ

Will this raise my energy bill?

It usually lowers it. A correctly programmed Ecobee or Nest pays for itself in 12-18 months in most Portland homes by setting back when nobody's home. We program the schedule on install day.

Can you tie everything into one app?

Mostly. Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa all aggregate devices across brands now. We pick the ecosystem that matches the phones in your household and configure the rest to talk to it.

What about when the internet goes down?

Locks still work with their keypad. Thermostats keep running their schedule. Lutron lighting is local-only. Voice control and remote app access need internet — but the house keeps functioning.
